About the Beechcliffe

The Beechcliffe is a large family house, built in the art deco period, still retaining its stained glass windows and located in a quiet, residential avenue on the north shore of Blackpool. We are just a 2-3 minute lazy stroll on a level road from the promenade and seafront, where you are just a few minutes tram or bus ride away from Blackpool’s famous tower, central attractions and wide variety of shops and restaurants or if you prefer, another 20 minutes stroll. Blackpools train and bus stations are just a 10 minute bus journey and for guests coming by car, we offer complimentary off-street visitors parking.

Our North shore location gives you an ideal base to explore both Blackpool and the cheery seaside towns of Thornton and Cleveleys in Wyre who share an interesting and varied history, with Thornton being mentioned in the Doomsday Book, while Cleveleys mostly dates back to the 19th century when a Mr Cleveleys built a hotel there to accommodate the growing numbers of tourists flocking to the pretty region. Visitors continue to enjoy this coastal retreat which is situated just north of the bright lights of Blackpool, especially since the award-winning £20 million renovation of Cleveleys’ Seafront.

With just 8 bedrooms, you can be assured of a warm welcome and friendly, personal service throughout your stay with us. Each of our bedrooms is individually decorated with cool, calm colour schemes.
